Ingredients	Purpose
WATER	Purified water
PROPANEDIOL	A safe moisture-retaining agent made from fermented corn sugar. We use raw materials that received an ECOCERT certificate, an organic certification based in Europe.
TITANIUM DIOXIDE	A white pigment that has the function of reflecting UV radiation. It contains particles of TITANIUM DIOXIDE. There product contains larger particles of 0.2～0.3μｍ as well as smaller particles of 20nm. We use both types of TITANIUM DIOXIDE particles. But nano-sized particles of TITANIUM DIOXIDE are coated with SILICA.
SQUALANE	A valuable Squalane, which we can collect a very little amount from vegetable oil. It is oil with a little stickiness that does not irritate your skin or is oxidized easily.
PENTYLENE GLYCOL	A safe moisturizer commonly used for many cosmetics. It has a sticky texture and a characteristic smell.
POLYGLYCERYL-4 STEARATE	A safe emulsifier made from plant materials. It is composed of one molecule of stearic acid and 4 molecules of glycerin. We use it for stability of the emulsification process.
BUTYLENE GLYCOL	A very safe moisturizer commonly used, like glycerin, in many cosmetics.
BEHENYL ALCOHOL	An oil based ingredient, which is solid in room temperature and made by synthesizing behenic acid collected from canola oil. It is used to adjust the solidity of cream or milky lotion and to increase its stability against temperature fluctuation.
SILICA	A pigment that has the function of reflecting UV radiation. The nano-sized particles of　TITANIUM DIOXIDE are coated with SILICA to disturb a photocatalysis. It is also a good in concealing the visible pores on one’s face.
THEOBROMA CACAO (COCOA) SEED BUTTER	A fat collected from cacao beans that is generally used for a chocolate. This substance melts at body temperature. It allows better control of cream's texture.
POLYGLYCERYL-10 STEARATE	A safe emulsifier made from plant materials. It is composed of one molecule of stearic acid and 10 molecules of glycerin. We use it for stability of the emulsification process.
GLYCYRRHIZA GLABRA (LICORICE) ROOT EXTRACT	An essence extracted from a plant, glycyrrhiza, part of the papilionaceous family. It has excellent anti-inflammatory properties. In addition, it is known to have stimulation easing, antiallergenic anti-oxidation and whitening properties.
SAXIFRAGA SARMENTOSA EXTRACT	An essence extracted from saxifrage. It is known for its whitening effects, anti-oxidation and astringent (pore tightening).
BELAMCANDA CHINENSIS ROOT EXTRACT	An herbaceous perennial in the Iridaceae species. It is expected to have anti-aging and acne prevention effects from abundant isoflavone it has.
MORUS ALBA ROOT EXTRACT	An essence extracted from the mulberry root, which is also called Morus Alba Root Extrac. It is known to have anti-inflammatory and whitening effects.
SCUTELLARIA BAICALENSIS ROOT EXTRACT	An essence extracted from the root of a plant, called Baikal skullcup. It is known to have effects such as antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antioxiation, tyrosinase activity block (whitening), and so on.
PAEONIA SUFFRUTICOSA ROOT EXTRACT	An essence extracted from the root of the Japanese peony tree.
PHYTOSTERYL MACADAMIATE	An oil based ingredient made from the fatty acid found in macadamia nut oil and phytosterol. It is useful for keeping the appropriate levels of moisture inside one’s corneocytes (uppermost skin layer), and it improves natural protective ability of skin against irritation.
BENTONITE	A type of clay that has the function absorbing water during emulsification process. It allows the product base to become creamy. We use it for stability of the emulsification process.
HYDROGENATED LECITHIN	An ingredient made by hydrogenating soybean lecithin, which can be oxidized easily without processing. It is used as a natural emulsifier.
PULLULAN	A polysaccharide produced by bacteria. We use it for smoothing of the spread of nano-sized TITANIUM DIOXIDE particles.
GLYCERYL RICINOLEATE	A safe emulsifier made from ricinoleic acid included in castor oil and glycerin. We use it for stability of the emulsification process.
TOCOPHEROL	It is an anti-oxidant ingredient, Vitamin E, added to the raw ingredient, jojoba oil, as an antioxidant, but not added to the prescription.
XANTHAN GUM	One of the polysaccharides which is obtained by fermenting carbohydrates, such as starch, with a certain kind of bacteria. It is added to increase the stickiness of a liquid and the stability of an emulsion.
ALCOHOL	It is used only as a solvent to extract essence from plants, but not added in the prescription of the beauty essence: therefore, a person sensitive to ethanol may use it.
IRON OXIDES	A pigment that is used for the control of skin color and as a make-up base.

SEKKEN SOJI(JTN)	It is produced from fatty acids from animal and vegetable oil, and sodium hydroxide. A soap material, which is very mild and creates foam easily, is used.
SIMMONDSIA CHINENSIS (JOJOBA) SEED OIL	A liquid wax made from jojoba seeds grown in Southwest United States or northern Mexico. It has a less than oily feeling compared to common vegetable oils and smooth on a skin.
BLACK STRAP POWDER	It is made by boiling down sugar cane juice. It is an ingredient that contains more vitamins and minerals than white refined sugar, and has excellent moisture retention ability.

LEUCONOSTOC/RADISH ROOT FERMENT FILTRATE	A liquid obtained by fermenting daikon radish root with lactic bacterium and filtering afterwards. It is added due to its antibacterial property.

LACTIC ACID	A substance in human sweat. It is added to adjust the product's pH.
SODIUM PCA	A substance called sodium pyrrolidone carboxylate, a group of amino acids. It is known that pyrrolidone carboxylate consists of 12% of NMF in human skin.
ALCOHOL	It is used only as a solvent to extract essence from plants, but not added in the prescription of the lotion: therefore, a person sensitive to ethanol may use it.

STEARIC ACID	A solid fatty acid in room temperature collected mainly from palm oil. It is widely used in creams and milky lotion, as it does not irritate skin.
BEHENYL ALCOHOL	An oil based ingredient, which is solid in room temperature and made by synthesizing behenic acid collected from canola oil. It is used to adjust the solidity of cream or milky lotion and to increase its stability against temperature fluctuation.
OCTYLDODECYL MYRISTATE	An oil based ingredient made from myristic acid, collected from coconut oil and others, and an aliphatic alcohol called Octydodecanol. It has excellent stability against oxidation and spreads nicely on your skin without excessive oiliness.

HYDROGENATED LECITHIN	An ingredient made by hydrogenating soybean lecithin, which can be oxidized easily without processing. It is used as a natural emulsifier.
ETHYLHEXYLGLYCERIN	A glycerin derivative, called Octoxyglycerin. It is a moisturizer with antibacterial property that softens the skin.
GLYCERYL CAPRYLATE	An ester of a fatty acid, called caprylic acid, which is collected from coconut oil and so on, and glycerin. It is used as an emulsifier and emollient agent.

GLUCOSYL CERAMIDE	A ceramide cream from rice. Ceramide is a main component of an intercellular lipid that binds corneocytes together. It is known that ceramide can be lost by skin trouble like an atopic dermatitis or aging.
ORYZANOL	It is a component in rice embryo bud. It promotes blood circulation and prevents rough skin.
